Now that we have the essentials down, let’s start from the beginning: parking. Hello it's Jasper was kind enough to suggest a couple of parking garages for me, and the one I decided on was perfect for my needs.
🅿️ Parkhaus Luisenplatz (Einfahrt): This is the one we used. It is directly next to the children's market and about a 10-minute walk to the primary market. We were there from around 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm, which was about 12 euros.

We arrived early before the grand opening ceremony that was scheduled for 6:00 pm. You can't miss the main market. Just look for the Marktkirche (church) which provides a stunning towering backdrop over the market square—a perfect canvas for your photography needs! 🌇✨📸
Here is where things went wrong. Lesson learned, and I should've done better research. Little did I know, the opening ceremony was a grand spectacle! Picture this: a luminous angel dancing, captivating video mapping, spotlight magic, all leading up to the crescendo of the tree lighting up alongside the entire market. My advice? Next year, secure a prime spot about an hour early for a front-row experience. We ended up on the outskirts with a less-than-ideal view, battling the crowds. Quite the disappointment. Learn from my unfortunate mistake and make the most of your visit in the years to come. 🌟🎄✨

A wonderful world of festive huts and cozy covered wooden stations dot the landscape of the Mauritiusplatz—a truly charming haven to explore and unwind! 🎄✨🏡
Ice skating is offered at the Bowling Green. I confess, I missed the memo in the informational program (silly me), which makes me sad, because I do love to skate. Even more noteworthy, it's not just any old rink—it's the largest mobile ice rink in all of Germany! ⛸️❄️

And for the grand finale, a treat for the little ones! 🌟👧👦 The Kindersternshnuppenmarkt, (Children's Market)—yes, it's a bit of a tongue-twister! Amidst the enchantment at the Luisenplatz, discover a mini maze, a charming mini train, delightful food huts, and a few other rides. It's a serene haven away from the main market's hustle and bustle—a perfect escape for your little adventurers! 🚂🎠🍭
